Thomas Andrews designed the “Dream.” Walter Lord re-ignited passion in it. Robert Ballard found it. Ken Marschall opened an unbelievable artistic window to it. James Cameron showed us through big screen magic what she and her era was like.

And with the help of millions, Joseph Ricker is leading the charge to bring Titanic’s story full circle by putting the pieces in place for a newbuild named “Titan.”

The last storied chapter in Titanic’s legacy is obviously clear and is now on the verge of being read.

That final chapter begins by bringing the spirit of Titanic into the 21st century as a symbol of what can be possible again, and to offer the world a new and dynamic window to peer back into a spectacular era which was the grand age of trans-Atlantic ship travel.

Titanic in her brief time was what was new technologically, what was felt artistically and creatively, and she was presented to the 1912 world as the “Ship of Dreams.”

A newbuild is the logical answer to the tens of millions of people worldwide captivated by Titanic’s incredible story who yearn for something more than books or movies. Titan will fill that void, and she won’t disappoint. She will be a new “Dream” for a new era, a true ocean-going vessel with no peer. She will embody the power and spirit of Titanic though will never replace her unique legacy. Instead, Titan will create her own special niche in the maritime record.

And with the assistance of all those millions who believe in that spirit, she will move quickly into reality.

The time has come to begin this odyssey.

The time has come to construct the “Ship of Ages.”

Our Vision

Our Vision

The world’s largest ocean liner, Titan, a ship that will honor the legacy of the Titanic, travel the world and provide an educational platform to Titanic and the age of trans-Atlantic ship travel, while benefitting the health and well being of sick and needy children worldwide

The passing of Millvina Dean - Sunday, May 31, 2009

The SS Titan Foundation is deeply saddened by the passing today of Millvina Dean, Titanic's last living survivor, ironic as today also marks the 98th anniversary of Titanic's launch from Harland and Wolff.

It was hoped that she would stay with us until at least the completion of Titan, where we had hoped she would christen her.

We join the millions of Titanic enthusiasts around the world in mourning her loss today, she will be sorely missed ...
